Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the cleaning services provided by Vera's Cleaning London ("we", "us", "our") to you ("the Client"). By booking a service you agree to these Terms.
1. Services
We provide domestic cleaning services in London, including Regular Cleaning, Deep Cleaning, End of Tenancy Cleaning and Pre–End of Tenancy Cleaning. The scope of each visit is the checklist agreed at the time of booking.
2. Quotes & Pricing
- All quotes are estimates based on the information you provide (property type, bedrooms, bathrooms, extras and condition).
- Final pricing may be adjusted if the property is materially different from the description provided.
- Hourly services have a minimum booking of two (2) hours.
- Prices are in GBP and inclusive of cleaning products and equipment unless stated otherwise.
3. Bookings
A booking is confirmed once we send written confirmation by email, SMS or WhatsApp. You are responsible for ensuring safe access to the property at the agreed time.
4. Cancellations & Rescheduling
- Free cancellation or rescheduling with at least 24 hours' notice.
- Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice, or lock-outs on arrival, may incur a fee of 50% of the booking value.
- For end-of-tenancy bookings cancelled within 12 hours of the start time, the full booking value may be charged.
5. Payment
Payment is due on completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept bank transfer and card. Late payment may incur interest at 4% above the Bank of England base rate.
6. Re-clean Guarantee
For End of Tenancy cleans, if your letting agent or landlord raises any reasonable issue with our work within 48 hours, we will return and re-clean the affected areas free of charge, provided the property has not been re-occupied and no third party has cleaned it in the meantime.
7. Our Cleaners
All cleaners are DBS-checked, trained and fully insured. You agree not to solicit, hire or contract any of our staff directly within 12 months of a service. A finder's fee of £1,500 applies if this is breached.
8. Liability
- We hold public liability insurance up to £1,000,000.
- Claims for damage or loss must be reported in writing within 24 hours of the service.
- We are not liable for pre-existing damage, wear and tear, or items that are not reasonably accessible.
- Our total liability for any single booking is limited to the value of that booking, except where law provides otherwise.
9. Access, Utilities & Safety
The property must have running hot water, electricity and safe access. We reserve the right to refuse or stop a service if the environment is unsafe (biohazards, pests, structural risk).
10. Complaints
Please contact us within 24 hours and we will aim to resolve any issue promptly. Most concerns are settled with a re-clean or a partial refund.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
